For the premiere of director Matthew Vaughn’s spy thriller Argylle, Legion partnered with Universal Pictures to deliver a high end, motion forward social campaign. The work focused on elevated visual storytelling and precision execution across owned social channels.
I led creative production for the campaign, collaborating closely with two motion artists and a designer to produce over 30 custom assets. With Matthew Vaughn deeply involved in the approval process, the work required multiple creative rounds and careful attention to detail to ensure each piece met both brand and director expectations.
animated character intro cards
The animated character intro cards were designed as bold, high energy introductions to the film’s ensemble cast. I worked closely with a motion graphics artist to develop highly animated executions that balanced personality, pacing, and polish while maintaining consistency with the film’s premium look.
These assets helped establish tone early in the campaign and set a visual standard for the rest of the content.

Script to screen assets paired scrolling script text alongside the final on screen scenes, highlighting the translation from page to picture. These pieces were heavily animated and designed to reward close viewing while reinforcing the craft behind the film.
I supported scene selection and coordinated production to ensure each asset felt cohesive and legible while remaining visually dynamic.



alfie POV videos
The Alfie POV videos reimagined scenes from the film as if viewed through the perspective of Alfie the cat. These edits leaned into playful storytelling while remaining grounded in the film’s narrative world.
I assisted with scene selection and overall story shaping to ensure each piece felt intentional and character driven rather than purely novelty based.

Review video assets incorporated critic quotes directly into scene based motion edits, blending editorial text with visuals in a seamless way. Similar in structure to countdown assets but elevated in execution, these pieces reinforced critical reception while maintaining visual interest.

Countdown assets supported key release moments with clean, integrated text and consistent visual systems. While more traditional in format, these pieces were carefully designed to match the campaign’s overall look and feel.

In partnership with Spotify, we created a static asset promoting the official Argylle playlist. The piece extended the campaign into music culture while reinforcing the film’s identity through curated sound.
