SMASHING IDEAS
In summer of 2015 I was tasked with recreating getTV's site in the Drupal platform. I worked with the Digital Networks group at Sony Pictures Television and a development vendor named Smashing Ideas. Together we created a site for getTV that could be templatcized and used for other networks such as Cine Sony and Sony Movie Channel with updated branding.
The site included a fairly complicated back-end that powered the EPG listings and allowed a full schedule that linked to individual program pages to be displayed on the site. We also created a feature that would allow users to download a copy of the schedule if they preferred a paper version.
The site also included a page for online quizzes about the shows on getTV that viewers could take. We designed the backend to allow for the upload of an excel file which contained all of the trivia quizzes questions and answers, along with images. This upload allows for the excel document to be filled in directly by the copywriter and then easily uploaded into Drupal for quiz creation.
After the site was created, I was tasked as the sole content updating - refreshing the schedule and program images on a monthly basis.
