My Story

My name is Samantha. I was born in Ohio and raised as the daughter of two Air Force officers, which meant spending my childhood moving up and down the East Coast. By the time I graduated high school in Northern Virginia, moving felt normal and adaptability was second nature. I went on to attend Ithaca College, a small but mighty school in upstate New York.

At Ithaca, I studied Television and Photography, with a minor in Integrated Marketing Communications. I nearly minored in World Religious Studies as well, a choice I still think about occasionally. During college, I interned with the NBC Agency, and the following summer I was selected for the 4A’s Multicultural Advertising Intern Program. That experience placed me at TBWA\Chiat\Day New York, where I supported the print department and spent the summer learning how large scale creative work actually gets made.

After graduation, I followed my family west to California, where my father was stationed at Edwards Air Force Base in the Mojave Desert. Los Angeles was the nearest city, and it became the place where I began building a career and, eventually, a sense of home. It took time and more than a little heartbreak, but LA became the first place that truly felt like mine.

I started my career with an internship at Disney Interactive, then joined the newly formed Davis Elen Digital team, where I worked across a wide range of digital initiatives for a Hawaiian adventure cruise client. From there, I moved to Saatchi LA, producing everything from homepage takeovers to early Facebook experiences for Toyota. That path led me to Sony Pictures Interactive, where I produced digital assets across multiple film campaigns. The team there became a professional home, and I was promoted to Producer within my first year, solidifying my focus on entertainment marketing.

After Sony, I broadened my experience at Threshold Interactive, producing sweepstakes, mobile sites, and social assets for Nestlé Regional Spring Waters brands. I then returned to Sony, this time on the client side at Sony Pictures Television, where I managed the digital footprint for Sony Movie Channel, Cine Sony, and getTV. One of the highlights of that role was a campaign for Walker, Texas Ranger that increased viewership by 12 percent in a single month.

In April 2019, after months of preparation, I earned my PMP certification, formalizing the production and project management foundation I had built through years of hands on experience.

In October 2020, I took on a contract role at Apple, working alongside deeply talented creative teams. That experience led to a full time Senior Creative Producer role at Home Brew Agency, where I expanded into social first film and television campaigns. From there, I joined Legion Creative, producing the award winning 360 campaign for Showtime’s Yellowjackets and continuing to lead complex, multi channel entertainment work.

In August 2024, I made the difficult but necessary decision to leave Los Angeles and relocate to Fort Worth, Texas to be closer to family. During this transition, I continued working remotely, adapting my workflow to support distributed teams while maintaining the same level of creative and production leadership.

After relocating, I worked with Trailer Park Group, supporting premium AV and social campaigns for film and television. The role reinforced my ability to lead projects end to end, collaborate across time zones, and manage creative production under tight timelines and high expectations.

Most recently, I served as a Senior Creative Producer at MOCEAN, working on social campaigns for major entertainment properties including Shrek. In that role, I partnered closely with creative, design, and account teams to oversee production from concept through delivery, managing timelines, budgets, and approvals while ensuring the work remained culturally relevant, on brand, and creatively ambitious.

What has never changed is why I do this. I love being a producer because I love bringing ideas to life. I want to be involved at every stage of the process, from early thinking through final delivery. I care about impact, clarity, and follow through. I am a natural leader, a strong presenter, and someone who finds real satisfaction in taking an idea and shaping it into something tangible, meaningful, and complete.
